Tuscan Red Wines
Tuscany has become famous for the two distinctive wines of this region – “Vino Nobile” and “Brunello.” Montepulciano, home to Vino Nobile is 30 minutes southeast of Montisi, reached via vineyards and natural forests. Montalcino, home to Brunello, is 30 minutes southwest. Both ancient hill towns are marvelous for wandering and wine tasting, with panoramic views on all sides.
